Terms of use
Last updated: 18 October 2026
These terms apply when you use ANA Studio’s website, client portal and staff system, and when you book work from us. By using them you agree to these terms. Specific work may also be covered by a quotation or agreement; if they differ, that quotation or agreement applies.
1. Who we are
ANA Studio is operated by [registered company name], registration number [number], VAT number [number], of [physical address].
2. Accounts
- Sign in only with your own work email address and keep your sign-in codes private.
- You’re responsible for what is done with your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
- We may suspend an account that’s misused or no longer needed.
3. Booking work
- When you send a brief or material, you confirm you have the right to use it (including any logos, images, text and trademarks) and that it doesn’t break any law.
- Deadlines depend on receiving complete material on time. We’ll tell you if something is missing.
- You review proofs and ask for changes. Approving a proof confirms it is correct; please check spelling, prices, dates and contact details carefully. [Confirm how many correction rounds are included.]
4. Fees and payment
- Prices are as quoted, in South African rand, and include VAT where shown.
- Invoices are payable within the period shown on the invoice (normally 30 days). [Confirm deposit and late-payment terms.]
- Photography bookings may need a deposit to secure the date. [Confirm deposit, cancellation and rescheduling terms.]
5. Photographs and licences
- Unless agreed otherwise in writing, ANA Studio keeps the copyright in photographs and creative work it makes. [Confirm ownership for commissioned design work.]
- An image licence lets you use an image only as stated on your licence certificate: for that use, those media, that territory and that period. Any other use needs a new licence.
- Commercial use of images showing identifiable people or private property needs releases, which we confirm before licensing.
- Watermarked previews are for choosing images only and may not be used.
6. Acceptable use
Don’t try to get into areas or information you’re not meant to see, upload harmful files, interfere with the system, or use it to send unlawful or offensive content.
7. Liability
We take care to provide accurate, on-time work, but the website and system are provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our liability for any work is limited to [the fee paid for that work]. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act where it applies.
8. Privacy
How we handle personal information is set out in our privacy policy.
9. General
These terms are governed by the law of South Africa. We may update them; the date at the top shows when they last changed. Questions: traffic@anastudio.co.za.
